Carlo Jensen Poul Hundevad Danish Rosewood Bookcases, Pair Avaialbe
Offered for sale individually are 2 Danish Modern rosewood bookcases by Carlo Jensen for Poul Hundevad and Hundevad & Co. They were made in Denmark circa 1970. Each bookcase is in 2 pieces, with the tops and sides featuring rich Rosewood grained patterns. The lower cabinets have sliding doors with matched grain book cased veneers. The upper portions offer ample open storage shelving. Each lower cabinet has two slender drawers that open. Below each drawer is a sliding door that opens to reveal additional storage.
These vintage mid-century Danish Modern Scandinavian modern designs features clean, geometric lines and the cabinet is well-crafted from beautifully grained rosewood. The upper step-back open hutch has three removable and adjustable shelves. The lower cabinet has two sliding doors. The two-piece construction allows for more convenient transport and storage. These versatile cabinets are perfect for office or home; use as bookshelf, display cabinet media console. They are made in Denmark.
