Description
Dimensions: 87 ¾” H x 72 ½” W x 25” D
A Dutch 19th century armoire covered in breathtaking flamed mahogany that has an expansive effect on the already appreciable scale. Split arch doors enclose a divided cabinet of two vertical compartments: the right door contains a working lock & key while the left door uses vertical slide bolts to stay in place. Deep shelves which range from 16 ⅝”-17” can be reconfigured as needed on sawtooth brackets to suit many rooms from clothing and linen storage to kitchen & dining organization. Note that each door needs to be completely open for the drawer in the base to slide out. This magnificent example of fine woodworking has been gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to maintain the natural complexion of the wood. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. -
