English 19th Century Mahogany Bowfront Chest of Drawers

A classic English bowfront chest of drawers made of mahogany in the Regency style, circa 1870. The top surface is a large swathe of uninterrupted veneer that showcases all of the mesmerizing tones and grain patterns the exotic wood is prized for. The signature flame pattern is a perfect match for the graceful curvature of the five drawers which open easily by turned wood knobs stained to match. No key is present for the locks. Large, turned toupie feet carved with a pronounced gadroon motif support the whole. Gently cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax this chest is ready for your interior. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. There is evidence of a small repair to the top surface.
