Dimensions: 36 ⅛” H x 44” W x 24” D
A 19th century English mahogany lowboy or sideboard with stunning color and proportions to hold timeless appeal in a range of traditional to transitional decorating tastes. The single-drawer design is made of a deep case lifted from the floor by elegant cabriole legs. What appears to be a single-plank on top is expertly matched for an expansive effect showcasing the beauty of the dark grain, notched at the corners with a subtle cleft. The drawer uses a pair of Chinoiserie style brass drop pulls with matching escutcheon over the working lock; one key included. The table is supported by elegant cabriole legs, each terminating in pad feet, with Chippendale expression found in the scrolled flanges on the back of the knee of each leg to showcase the craftsmanship of the period. Versatile in placement, this antique side table serves effortlessly in a variety of settings–bringing depth and authenticity to a home–blending with both period and modern furnishings.
