Description
1960s Svend Aage Laresen Tambour Door Rosewood Credenza for Faarup Møbelfabrik
An incredibly refined and cleverly designed tambour door credenza executed in rosewood and wood with 2x tambour doors that open to reveal ample storage and organizing drawers. The back is also finished in rosewood and retains the original Faarup Møbelfabrik manufacturer's label.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, scratches, losses, marks and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. The right tambour door opens less smoothly than the left side, but still functions well. There is one largely hidden loss to the wood at the point where the right tambour door closes against the left side (see image). Overall a very beautiful and presentable center piece that wears its age well. -
