French Vintage Painted Enfilade
-
Description
Dimensions: 38 ⅝“ H x 83 ¾” W x 20” D
A French, early to mid-20th century four door enfilade transformed more recently with a painted, scraped blue finish applied by hand that beautifully contrasts the linear formality of the wide case. Ethereal layers of pigment suggest Gustavian and Provincial inspiration using a lightly patinated faux finishing effect to wash the wood in a dusty shade of blue. Four paneled doors enclose the unpainted interior, secured by magnetic catches and released by a gentle pull on the understated brass knobs. Note that the center doors open in tandem for easy access to the undivided cabinet with a single shelf (17 ½” D) spanning the width for abundant storage capacity to keep a living room or dining room organized. Cleaned and tightened, this buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images. -
