Description
Vintage George Nakashima six drawer dresser for the Widdicomb Orgins Line (1958-1963) in walnut wood with oil finish.
The angled asymmetric one inch-thick top overhangs the right side of the six-drawer case.
The drawer faces are designed with serpentine carved horizontal pulls.
The dresser sets on solid-turned walnut legs and the top bows forward from 21.375" at its sides to 22" in the center
Stenciled on the underside and inside of a drawer are "George Nakashima" , "8/62" , and the model number "293"..
There is also a faded Widdicomb label pasted on the inside of a drawer.
Dimensions:32" high, 68"' wide top overhangs a 60" wide case, the top is 22" deep.
The dresser is in very good vintage condition. -
