Description
Frattini graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1953.
He opened his professional studio in Milan, after working in the studio of his teacher and mentor Gio Ponti. His collaboration with Cesare Cassina for his eponymous company began in 1954, followed by collaborations with many other industrialists, such as Bernini, Arteluce, Acerbis, Fantoni, Artemide, Luci, Knoll, Lema and others.
He was a board member of the Milan Triennale. A great connoisseur of handcrafted wood, he forged a long and fruitful professional partnership with the master craftsman Pierluigi Ghianda.
Here we have a wonderful cabinet mod. 804 designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1961 and produced by Bernini.
Wooden structure, roller shutter movement with retractable desk, aluminium details and glass top.
In very good condition and fully original.
