Description
Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) was one of Germany's most influential lighting designers. Renowned for his innovative and poetic approach to light, he combined traditional craftsmanship with experimentation, creating iconic designs that blur the line between functional lighting and art. His works are featured in museum collections and are celebrated as milestones of contemporary design.
Designed by Ingo Maurer, the "Uchiwa" wall lamp features a metal frame with bamboo stems and six lacquered paper palm fans. Inspired by traditional Japanese hand fans, it diffuses a warm, ambient light while combining natural materials with a sculptural design.
In very good condition, fully original and ready to be shipped.
We can rewire the light system to US standards upon request. -
