This beautiful cabinet is comprised of multiple woods with the top and side in burl walnut bordered in stunning multicolored rosewood. The cabinet has two doors with straw marquetry inlay of bleached mahogany opening to reveal two shelves. The contrast accentuates each element more. Raised on a stepped plinth base, this cabinet is both sculptural and functional, suitable for refined modern or transitional interiors. Jean-Michel Frank was a French interior designer known for his love of exotic patterns, specifically in veneers, which this cabinet definitely honors.
