Description
A beautifully scaled example of Kai Kristiansen’s refined Danish modern design. Crafted in warm, golden teak, this 4-drawer dresser features the sculpted recessed pulls that have become a signature of Kristiansen’s aesthetic. The handles’ soft, curved form adds both tactility and elegance, giving the piece its unmistakably Danish character.
Each drawer is expertly constructed with dovetailed joinery and smooth gliding action. The proportions are slightly more compact than many Danish case pieces, making it especially versatile: ideal in an entryway, guest room, nursery, or as a bedside companion in a primary suite. The tapered solid teak legs lift the form lightly, adding an airy silhouette to the room.
Fully restored with a hand-rubbed finish that enhances the wood’s natural luster. The teak has a rich, even glow and a touch of vintage depth that can only come from time and careful stewardship.
A timeless, functional piece with all the charm and craftsmanship of the Danish modern era—scaled for real living.
