This pair of Mid-Century Modernist Rectilinear Nightstands in Silver Cerused Walnut originate from the United States circa 1960. Featuring a beautifully proportioned rectangular design with drawers located on the top and bottom thirds of the piece, the center is left free for display or for easy access to items of daily use. The supports are gradually tapered and angled to provide stability. The entirety of the nightstands are finished in a stunning silver cerused finish involving applying silver leaf into the grain of the wood before finishing to create a dynamic and glittering texture, full of detail and natural beauty. These nightstands will style well and a wide array of interiors and settings from mid century, modernist to contemporary and minimal spaces. In mint restored condition.
