A beautifully refined pair of mid-century modern teak nightstands designed by renowned Danish architect and designer Peter Hvidt for Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark, circa 1950s. These minimalist bedside tables showcase Hvidt's signature approach — elegant simplicity, superb craftsmanship, and functional design.
Crafted from rich, warm solid teak and teak veneer, each piece features clean lines, subtle curves, and exposed finger joinery that exemplifies the sophistication of Danish modernism. The compact proportions and timeless form make them ideal as nightstands.
Peter Hvidt, known for co-founding the influential design duo Hvidt & Mølgaard, was a major figure in the Golden Age of Danish design. His collaborations with Søborg Møbelfabrik remain among the most collectible and enduring examples of Scandinavian craftsmanship.
