A French 17th century period Louis XIII walnut side table with single drawer and barley-twist base. This French side table features a rectangular planked top with rounded edges sitting above a simple apron comprising a single long drawer, opening with a wooden pull. The ensemble is raised on an exquisite base, made of four barley-twist legs, typical of the Louis XIII era, connected to one another with a cross stretcher of the same style. The curvy, sinuous lines of the turned base, discreetly accented by the rectangular block joints, contrast beautifully with the simplicity of the top, creating a perfectly harmonious vision. With its elegant silhouette and rich patina, this 17th century walnut side table will bring an authentic touch to any home, from a bedroom to a living room.
