Description
Striking round early 19th century Biedermeier dining table/ center table coming from the renowed period in Austria around 1835. Elaborately handcrafted in the first third of the 19th century in Vienna, this remarkable round Biedermeier table impresses with an absolute fantastic looking star-shaped nutwood veneer pattern on the top plate, additionally adorned by those exceptional brighter mirrormatched fields around the center - absolutely dreamlike! Three artfully designed legs mounted on a hexagonal column confer it a matchless look and gives this antique Biedermeier table a secure and solid stand at the same time. The traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the extraordinary grain of the very carefully selected nutwood. A truly one of a kind Biedermeier nutwood dining table from the early 19th century, coming in great old restored condition.
PLEASE NOTE: If you would need a full dining set, please also see our matching Biedermeier chairs and get in touch with us. We actually have a set of 6 beautiful Biedermeier nutwood so-called "shovel chairs" that fit perfect to this table (see Ref. ID.: BM-DC01). On request and additional charge we can also reupholster the chairs in your favorite colour/ fabric. -
