20th Century Art Nouveau Pedestal - Bentwood Trimmed To Mahogany, AT circa 1900

Lovely early 20th century Art Nouveau pedestal from the period in Austria around 1900. Beautifully made of beech/ bentwood, this unique pedestal impresses with three slim columns on an octagon base. In the middle floats a small triangular compartment. The whole pedestal has been stained to a dark mahogany look. The round top plate has a diameter of around 7" and offers the perfect spot for flowers in a nice cachepot or for example as a display column for a valuable bust or sculpture.
