Description
An ingenious example of 19th-century British campaign style furniture, this versatile piece functions as both a table and a chair. Crafted in iron with clean, utilitarian lines, it reflects the portable, durable design of military campaign furniture popular during the Victorian era. The convertible mechanism allows it to easily transition from a compact writing or occasional table to a side chair, making it ideal for travel, field use, or compact living quarters. Retains plaque for "Lord Dudley".
