Description
A rectangular coffee table with a U-shaped base in Loupe D'Amboine Burl with a high gloss finish. This table was made in France and designed by Jules Leleu.
Jules Leleu was a prominent French Art Deco furniture designer known for his stylish and innovative furniture designs. He created pieces that were characterized by sleek lines, geometric shapes, and a variety of exotic woods, all hallmarks of the Art Deco style. Leleu opened a gallery in Paris called Maison Leleu. He won the grand prize at the Exposition Industrielle et Arts Decoratifs in 1924 and 1925. He designed various important buildings/salons in France and other countries, as well as ocean liners like Île de France and Normandie. - More Information
