Description
This Art Deco three-tier walnut side table, crafted in France circa 1935, epitomizes the refined elegance and geometric precision synonymous with the movement. The table’s rectilinear form is striking, with bold, clean lines and an innovative design that balances aesthetic sophistication with practical functionality.
Constructed from richly grained walnut in a deep brown hue, the table features three offset tiers that swoop gracefully in layered planes, offering a dynamic sense of movement typically found in Art Deco furnishings. The walnut’s natural tone is accentuated by a lovely finish, lending a subtle sheen that highlights its intricate wood grain. The plinth base provides a sturdy foundation, while the rectilinear vertical supports underscore the piece’s architectural presence, creating a harmonious interplay between structure and style.
This side table is both sculptural and versatile, ideal for use as a statement piece in living spaces, or as a functional surface for displaying decorative objects. In excellent vintage condition, it exemplifies French mastery of material and form, offering a timeless addition to interiors inspired by Art Deco design or modernist sensibilities. In Mint Restored Condition.
