Description
The French designer Bernard Vuarnesson, who founded the Italian based Sculpture Jeux label with his wife Ariane, is responsible for designing this playful modular object called “Tetra”.DesignIts basic shape consists of a cube made of beech wood and there are openings on each side where a leaf can be slid in and out. The tops or trays if you will have a white formica surface and raised serrated edges. These serrated edges in turn guide over the serrated edges of the frame. It is a simple and indeed playful system that offers a variety of options. You can choose to slide the four leaves exactly into the cube to create a compact object or extend them to create a multitude of surface areas. The upper surface consists of a grid with 169 boxes that provide depth and a subtle play of shadows. ConditionThis item has minor signs of age such as stains and scratches.
