Carlo Ratti Round Dining Table Made by Lissoni, Italy 1950s

  • Description
This very refined dining table was designed during the 1950s by Carlo Ratti and manufactured by the late Italian furniture company Lissoni. Let's start with the legs. The brass feet are each adjustable in height with a margin of about one and a half centimeters. The legs are subtly elevated off the floor nicely and give the table elegance and light-footedness as we know from the Italian design of that period. Brass circles and piping adorn the legs in a sublime way. After a few centimeters, the stylized organic wooden parts decorate the table leg. It resembles a kind of skirt that drapes around the cylinder and provides a strong decorative addition on top of the decorated feet. The expressive base is covered by a beautiful round top completely veneered in teak, with all parts mirrored with the utmost care. Color shades provide a true spectacle. This is a table that will make a delicate appearance in your interior in terms of proportion and subtlety. The condition is entirely according to age and use. Scratches on the frame and discolorations at the top are part of this and belong to the category of signs of use.
