A beautiful and rare mid century coffee table with a very distinct golden top. Belgium, mid 20th century.
The simple yet elegant design resembles works by Belgian designer Emiel Veranneman - most notably the ‘floating’ top and overall proportions.
Beautiful slender and simple profile with a nice lighter patina on the dark wooden frame. Combines wonderfully with the very distinct golden top which features a beautiful and rather expressive surface patina.
A table that is very elegant and sophisticated, yet somehow shows a wonderful wabi sabi appearance at the same time.
