English Bamboo and Rattan Tea Table

$ 1,650
  • Description
    This is a charming late 19th or early 20th century English rattan and bamboo Tea Table. The hexagonal form of the table is somewhat unusual and adds interest. The table is in overall very good condition and features 4 fold-out side shelves which were intended to hold tea items such as muffins, cakes and sandwiches. The hints of Japonisme seen in the modified pagoda form and oil spot bamboo structure date the table to the Aesthetic period.
