English Regency Writing Table

Description
This is a classic English mahogany 3-drawer writing table. The table is in overall very good condition. Although the drawer brasses are replacements, all other elements of the writing table appear to be original. The rich rust-colored leather writing insert is bordered by fine impressed gold banding with the borders of the top being cross-banded. The design configuration allows for a 60-inch width generous work surface, while maintaining a light open feeling. The turned, circular, tapered legs are beautifully proportioned and are capped by uncommon spherical elements.
