Description
Designed in 1961 | Produced by Knoll International (early 1960s)
A timeless icon of mid-century modern design, this Florence Knoll Partners Desk—also known as the Executive Table, Model 2485—embodies the clarity, elegance, and functionality that define Knoll’s design philosophy. Designed in 1961 by Florence Knoll, this piece was crafted during the early 1960s by Knoll International.
At the heart of the design is a stunning Brazilian rosewood top, rich in natural grain and warm tones, set atop a sleek chromed-steel 4-star pedestal base. Its minimalist yet robust construction reflects Knoll’s architectural approach to furniture, balancing form and utility.
Florence Knoll envisioned this desk to function not only as a commanding executive workspace but also as a collaborative table, making it ideal for meetings, brainstorming sessions, or shared creative work. With its versatile proportions, it also transitions beautifully into a sophisticated dining table, suitable for modern interiors.
Whether used in an executive office, studio, or refined home setting, this rare and collectible piece stands as a hallmark of modernist design—functional, elegant, and enduring.
