Description
A French Régence period walnut console table from the early 18th century, with its original marble top. Born in France during the Régence period that saw the transition of power between the late Louis XIV and his great-grandson Louis XV who was still too young to reign, this exquisite table features its original marble top presenting serpentine lines. The apron is adorned with carved motifs announcing the Rocaille style, and is flanked with delicate volutes. Raised on slight cabriole legs, this Régence walnut console table circa 1720 will bring an undeniable touch of French elegance to any living room or foyer.
