    This striking round side table was produced in France in the 1970s. Executed in a Brutalist style, this piece combines raw materials with artisanal craftsmanship creating a distinctive, almost medieval modern character

    The design features a round top with hand-laid slate tiles, arranged in a loose, abstract mosaic, showcasing a variegated, cloud-like surface with expressive tones and mineral inclusions. The subtle shifts in color—from deep charcoal and slate blue to warm rust and ochre—create a painterly, and atmospheric presence. The slate top is set within a circular wrought iron frame, accented with exposed rivet details that emphasize its industrial, hand-crafted character. The table stands on four sculptural wrought iron legs, subtly tapered with rounded, club-form feet.

    The table is in very good original condition with a natural and even patina throughout.
