    This fantastic 19th century Louis XVI style petite writing desk is full of handcrafted details! The vibrant orange writing surface is detailed with intricate gold tooling and perimetered by brass bands inlaid into the mahogany wood. A ribbed brass band encompasses the shaped top, curving with the turreted edges. Two front drawers and all sides are paneled and trimmed in brass. A single key is included for the functioning locks of both drawers. Metal joinery connects the apron to the tapered, fluted legs. Small brass ball feet elevate the whole.
