French Oak and Pine Butcher Block Table

    A French hand-built butcher block table made from oak and pine would make the perfect kitchen island. This functional antique has a thick top made of many wood fragments all held together with steel bindings. On the top surface you’ll find a lined knife storage. The block legs are joined by a stretcher for additional support.The top surface has been cleaned and coated with a food safe oil and ready to be used in your kitchen. The base has been polished with a french paste wax.There are knife marks and patina consistent with use and wear, be sure to look at the detailed images to see the current condition.
