This refined Mid-Century Modern ceramic cocktail table was realized by the esteemed G. Olivier in Switzerland circa 1960. It features a starburst pattern enameled ceramic center with a lava glaze consisting of alternating tones of mottled tan and carnelian red. The circular table top is circumscribed in ebonized walnut and supported by right angled supports in the same Material that cross at their base under the center of the table creating an x form. With its refined color palate, exquisite craftsmanship and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition.
