Description
This elegant wooden console is a standout example of mid-century craftsmanship. Its design nods to the iconic style of Vittorio Dassi or Ico Parisi, balancing functional storage with a sculptural presence. With a fully polished French finish, it reflects the meticulous attention to detail that defines exceptional furniture design.
Design
The console is veneered in rich mahogany, giving it a warm and inviting character. Equipped with six drawers, the piece offers ample storage while maintaining a sleek profile. Its distinctive legs immediately draw attention. Comprising four interconnected supports, the legs feature a dynamic, branching design that is both sturdy and visually striking. A brass element at their connection point enhances structural integrity and adds a touch of subtle luxury. The carefully crafted handles integrate seamlessly into the drawer fronts, highlighting the console’s streamlined aesthetic.
More than just a functional piece, this console captures the spirit of mid-century modern design. The blend of fine materials, expert craftsmanship, and thoughtful details ensures it makes a lasting impression in any space.
Condition
This console is in good vintage condition, with for example stains on the top. Our restoration workshop will check this item before shipping. -
