Barrel Form Brass Accent Side Table by John Vesey
-
Description
A mid-century modern side or occasional table designed by John Vesey (1924-1992) in 1956. Made from a mix of brass and chromed plated aluminum strips of zigzag pattern, which is less common than just the steel, this tables assume a traditional barrel form while maintaining a very modern geometrical appearance. They are great examples of an innovative designer who pioneered in using industrial material to reinterpret classic forms.
It has a glass top which adds to its minimalistic aesthetics. -
