Round Dining Center able with Stone Mosaic Surface by Karl Springer

Description
A glamorous circular dining table designed by Karl Springer circa 1980s. Supported by a pedestal in a large column shape, the thick tabletop features a rounded beveled edge and encircling brass band inlay. The model was popular in Karl Springer's design repertoire and variations with different finished were made. On this model, the entire surface was covered with tessellated stone mosaics that shows natural grains and veins. The veneers on the tabletop were designed in an attractive radiating co-centric pattern. The simple and elegant form allows the showcase of the luxury material and superb craftsmanship. Labeled with a metal tag "Karl Springer Handmade in the Philippines" as well as a paper sticker "KS295" on the base bottom. There is also a paper label on top of the base that indicates the piece was made for Holly Hunt#12560.

A great piece with substantial presence. The table can also be used as a bespoken center table for library or foyer. The top is attached to the bases with built-in steel plate and screws and can be taken off for transportation. -

A few tiny chips to the edge of the base column, only visible with the top removed and under close inspection.
