Description
This beautiful coffee table by French house Maison Baguès was created in the early 1960s with solid bamboo shaped bronze structure and an amazing Chinese lacquered top picturing a temple in the mountains. The lacquered top is warm and beautiful, while the bronze bamboo feet details provide an imaginative base for the piece. This table is typical of the Chinese inspired work of Maison Baguès in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The bronze structure has been clean, and has a beautiful patina, while the Chinese lacquer has been fully restored. The table is now found in a beautiful vintage condition.
