This balanced and materially striking Modernist Limed Oak Frank X Base Desk by Mattaliano originates from the United States during the 20th Century. Features a triangular base formed of rectangular elements that support the top surface of the desk, this piece features three drawers finished in an ivory hued finish with minimal grooved pulls emerging from the front. The entirety of the wood finish is in a beautifully handled Limed Oak, with three X form book-matched sections dividing the piece into thirds, reflecting the triangular moments of the base and highlighting the spacing of the drawers as well. A well made and highly usable desk rendered in the highest quality materials and with elegant proportions, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
