French Neoclassical Maurice Hirsch black gilded mirror table 1970s
-
Description
This luxurious hexagonal dining or center table is signed by French Neoclassical designer Maurice Hirsch, and was made as a bridge table in the early 1970s. Typical of the designer, the piece was inspired by the nineteenth century, albeit with a contemporary twist. Rich, black wood with golden accents makes up the body of the table, which has been re-varnished to bring out the original beautiful tones of the wood. Bright detailing along the grooves of the piece reveal an exquisite, highly crafted work. It features a mirrored top, and will be an ideal match for a large entrance decorative table.
