Description
Beautiful French bronze coffee table designed and produced by Michel Mangematin in 1962. The table features a large bronze star shaped form made of two X shapes. The bronze foot features polished edges with a patinated bronze finish. It is topped with a large thick oval shaped glass. This coffee table will not only be a chic focal piece but also a functioning addition to any living room. It looks minimal and elegant, and has a lovely timeless aesthetic, typical of the French mid-century modern design flair. The table has been fully restored, and repolished, with a new thick oval glass top, and it is in perfect condition.
Michel Mangematin was a French designer and architect who designed a very limited range of furniture. He studied under Frank Lloyd Wright and Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe in their workshops. -
