Description
Another amazing find from Fritz and Hollander. You are viewing a very rare production cigar rolling rack. To find a piece of history like this is extremely unique. Originally acquired from the old Phillies Cigar factory in Philadelphia,PA. These were put in storage for so many years and found in exceptional original condition. We are estimating from our research that these are from the 1920's to 1940's. Every piece from the metal casters to the top of the pull, including all the rolling cigar boxes are original!
The patina on the metal and the wooden rolling boxes are close to 100 years old. There is no rust present on any parts of these metal racks, which is extraordinary. Each of the two sides has 6 cigar rolling boxes for a total of 12 boxes for each rack, (see photos). The original cigar, introduced by the Bayuk brothers back in 1910 is from this factory in PA. Anyone who is a cigar aficionado would love to adorn their man cave or room with a conversation piece such as this. We possess only 4 of these carts. Once gone, thats it. -
