Description
A fine pair of Buddha lamps in the style of James Mont with walnut base in superb condition. The pair are very finely detailed from the face to the arms, hands and robe. The lamps are equally attractive from behind which lends them to float in any room with style. The fine silk bone colored shades are in perfect condition, blending very well with the whole composition of the figures and color. When the lamps are lit, the shades give off a warm expressive glow which shines down on the figures to enhance their beauty.
Please take note of the green patina showing through the buddha's and colors of brownish reds, a beautiful ancient look. This is one of the nicest pairs we have ever seen. Additionally, these are cast in metal which will last a lifetime and get better with age. They will absolutely help to set off any room in the home. From base to top of the figures are 22". With shades, 36".
