Venini Spazio is a project that marks this Venetian company’s entrée into interiors. The art direction has been handed to Rodolfo Dordoni, designer of the first collection. ‘I have designed five pieces, hence the name Quintet. I didn’t want to use glass structurally or just as decoration. I came up with pieces that, going back to the Bauhaus and Art Deco, had little to do with the contemporary and featured simple and rigorous forms.’ The Jarrett table consists of a glossy lacquered wood surface (white or black) supported on chromed steel legs with a hollow square section, which house three murano glass rods (crystal, amethyst and straw-coloured). The rods are free to rotate, and the light reflected from the steel creates elegant, evocative chromatic effects (an eight-pointed star).
This particular table is perhaps the last one in existence from this line and comes straight from the Venini floor from their store in Murano Italy (the photos displayed are how it was displayed at their store) the table was in production for a very short period of time and were never mass-produced, so far we have not been able to locate another example of this table other than a rectangular one used on their promotional material.
The table is in good original condition with some wear to the lacquer but we do not want to do anything due to the history behind the piece.
If you are coming to our show room to see a piece please call ahead of time because due to our large inventory some items are available by appointment only.
All of our sales are final, no refunds, no exchanges and no returns no exceptions.
