Black Iroko wood and burned steel seven leg signed low coffee table or side table or stool by Belgian designer Arno Declercq.
A Belgian designer and art dealer who makes bespoke objects for interiors with passion for design, atmosphere, history and craft.
The Senufo coffee table is made of Iroko wood with a burned steel top.
The black color is achieved using the Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban which is done by burning, sanding and then waxing the wood. Each table may differ slightly in the black color due to variations in the wood and temperature of the burning which is a creative process.
