Trolley In Solid Wood Finished With Mahogany Veneer, Italy 1960's
-
Description
Trolley in solid wood finished with mahogany veneer.
The practical function of the trolley, also called a serving trolley, is something from a bygone era, but the object itself has again won the hearts of the vintage design-loving public in recent decades.
This specific item is made in Italy and incorporates a number of traditional wood techniques. On the corners of the removable tray we see the tooth connections prominently. The tray plate is made of green fomica and the legs have a triangular shape that rest on brass wheels that all still roll perfectly. Its frame is made of solid wood and is finished with a mahogany veneer that provides for a luxurious feeling. Four brass bolts on the outside connect the intermediate beams and make sure this slender and charming appearance is backed by a robust construction.
The condition of the trolley is good with some diffuse small scratches and discolouration, entirely consistent with age and use. The formica plate has two small burn marks." - More Information
