This reserved and thoughtfully achieved Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Bronze Side Tables by Warren Platner originates from the United States, Circa 1960. They feature a contoured body composed of numerous parallel bronze rods, moving up and slightly inwards from the base, then expanding near the glass top. The rods extend slightly past a circular supporting element, surrounding the beveled glass top and creating a dynamic rhythm to the table. Requiring extreme precision and hundreds of welds each table, these designs by Planter cemented his reputation and helped usher in new sensibilities and processes for modernist design. Sure to style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
