Carl Auböck Bar Cart Drinks Trolley Serving Cart, Austria, 1960s
-
Description
A wonderful example of Minimalist Modernist design, this two-tier bar cart or drinks serving trolley dates back to the 1960s/1970s. Crafted by the workshop Werkstätte Carl Auböck in Vienna, it stands as a beautiful Midcentury piece. The cart features two wooden shelves supported by a frame of blackened iron, complemented by elegantly wrapped wicker/rattan handles. It remains in good condition, displaying only minor patina and signs of age, and rolls smoothly and effortlessly. Its versatility allows it to serve wonderfully as a bar cart, tea trolley, serving cart, or a flexibly placed side table, blending functionality with style.
