    An elegant coffee or sofa table from the 1950s, designed by the Austrian architect and designer Oswald Haerdtl. A beautiful table with a lovely curved top, an oval walnut center stem and the typical, unmistakable X-shaped base, made of polished, heavy cast brass, manufactured by Werkstätte Hagenauer in Vienna. Professionally restored in very good condition with marginal patina on the base.
    Oswald Haerdtl ( 1899 - 1959 ) was a famous Austrian architect and designer, who worked with other significant designers like Josef Frank, Oskar Strnad or Josef Hoffmann.
