Description
A whimsical figural brooch of a lady with a bonnet, holding a gem set bouquet of flowers. Her stylized hair and face reminds one of Veronica Lake. Her dress is studded with small sapphires. There are two turquoise stones at her collar, one of which has a minor chip. Marked on the side of the brooch is J. La Cloche, and other side marked Paris, Cannes and Depose. Measures 2 3/8 inches high and about 1 1/8 wide. 8.1 g or 5.2 dwt.
