Description
The big bird is a painting. I painted it. It's oil on canvas. I mounted it on plywood and silhouetted it with a jigsaw. I took the silhouetted bird with me on the subway. We each had our own seat on the trip Brooklyn to the Bronx.
The station has changed. In a google stock image photo, you can see the geniuses have destroyed the beautiful character of the station. The early 20th-century signage and lighting fixtures have been changed by soulless and cheap looking replacements
