Bruno Mathsson

Bruno Mathsson (1907-1988) was a Swedish furniture designer and architect known for his innovative designs that combined modernism with traditional Swedish craft techniques. He was born into a family of furniture makers and designers and learned the craft from his father.
Mathsson's designs were characterized by their simplicity, functionality, and comfort. He was particularly known for his use of bentwood and laminated wood in his furniture, which allowed for flexible, ergonomic designs.
