Jean Michel Schlumberger (1907-1987) was a French jewelry designer who became renowned for his exquisite designs for the renowned jewelry house, Tiffany & Co. He was born in Guebwiller, France, into a family of textile industrialists. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and worked for various jewelry houses before joining Tiffany & Co. in 1956.
At Tiffany, Schlumberger's innovative designs quickly gained popularity among the elite, including prominent figures like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, and the Duchess of Windsor.
