Gennaro Greco was received as a member of the painter’s guild in 1708. He was known for being a master of perspective in his oil paintings. Greco worked at the church of S. Francesco Saveno and for many noble palaces. His paintings of ruins and scenery were sought after. He fell from a scaffold to his death while working on a church in the Nola region. -
